A man from Bury has admitted to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
Aaron Anderson, of Baron Street, appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court to face the charge on Tuesday afternoon.
The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge at the short hearing.
A pre-sentence report will now be prepared before he is scheduled to return to the dock on Monday, July 25.
Anderson was granted bail ahead of his sentencing date.
