Temperatures in Bury are set to soar to 26C tomorrow, Thursday - the same peak as last week when sunshine brightened up the borough.
There will be clear skies and little chance of rain tomorrow, according to forecasters, and it will be hotter in Bury than some parts of Portugal with it expected to reach 22C in Lisbon.
However, Bury will begin to see cooler temperatures on Friday with highs of 21C and cloudy weather throughout the day with a high chance of precipitation in the evening.
On Saturday, temperatures will get even cooler with lows of 13C and highs of just 19C.
The Met Office predicts this will be accompanied by further rain predicted toward late afternoon and evening.
A similar forecast is predicted for Sunday with highs of 18C around 1pm and lows of 11C during the early hours of the morning.
The news comes as temperatures soared last week in Bury and across the UK due to warm air arriving from the Sahara Desert.
The UK recorded its hottest day of the year on Friday with Santon Downham in Suffolk with recorded highs of 32.7C.
The Met Office has issued a thunderstorm warning across large parts of southern England, Wales and the midlands on Thursday, warning that isolated storms may also occur in the North West.
