Police have seized an e-scooter and an off-road bike in Pimhole today, Monday, as part of a campaign to crack down on the crime.
Bury officers have warned owners of off-road vehicles not to drive them on roads or any other public places, due to them being uninsured, and often driven without an appropriate licence.
It is feared that reckless behaviour on such vehicles could lead to serious injury.
A Greater Manchester Police Bury South spokesman said: “Central team officers have seized two vehicles that have been driven illegally on the road and caused antisocial behaviour within the Pimhole area.
“These officers cover the G1 area of Bury and are tackling off-road bikes and e-scooters being used on roads.
“These vehicles cannot be driven on a road or other public place as they are uninsured and usually driven without the appropriate licence.
“They also increase the risk of injury to both the rider and members of the public which usually results in serious injury when it goes wrong.”
