Police have raided a cannabis farm in Prestwich and have highlighted the dangerous electrics used in the criminal operation.
Today, Friday a police warrant was carried out by the Bury South Neighbourhood Police team at a property on Lowther Road.
When officers arrived, they found problems with electrical equipment, which had caused significant damage.
Sharing pictures on social media, a spokesperson for Bury South Police said: "Bury South Neighbourhood Police conducted a warrant on Lowther Road in Prestwich regarding a cannabis farm.
"Below (pictures) is the reality of the living accommodation with dangerous electrics being used by growers and the aftermath of the cannabis farm."
The pictures show 11 plugs to be in the wall with scorch marks where the electricals have burnt the plug sockets.
