Free open day passes are on offer at leisure centres at three borough facilities on Saturday.

Castle Leisure Centre in Bury, Radcliffe Leisure Centre and Ramsbottom Pool and Fitness Centre are welcoming visitors for the day for no charge.

Activity sessions will be free for all throughout the day and attendees will be able to tour the facilities, try the gyms and pools, take advantage of a free health check and access free giveaways and a range of membership offers.

People will be able to find out about the council leisure centres' SwimTag fitness classes and wellbeing sessions and get involved in sports such as badminton, squash and table tennis.

Blood pressure and BMI checks, discussions about diet and lifestyle, exercise advice and support for those with long term health conditions with be on offer.

Bury Leisure operations manager, Zilpha Lang, said: “At Bury Leisure we are a friendly and welcoming team ready to support everyone achieve their 2023 New Year fitness goals.

“Join us at our free open days this Saturday to find out how you can save on our endless ways to stay active, healthy and happy.”

Attendees can also find out about a range of membership offers and anyone who joins Bury Leisure in January can enter a free prize draw to win a free membership or Fitbit wearables.
