Delays are expected on a number of roads after a collision and a lorry fire.
Transport for Greater Manchester has reported there will be delays on the ring road between Simister Island and Worsley, Junctions 15 and 18, due to a vehicle being on fire.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
The crash has taken place on the side of the road going anti-clockwise.
Elsewhere National Highways North West has reported a collision on the M602.
Two of three lanes are closed in a westbound direction between Junction One and Two in Eccles.
Delays of 30 minutes are expected.
