A large amount of "suspected" drugs were found along with "numerous" large knives after a dawn raid in Heywood.
Police entered a property in Queens Park Road on an "intelligence-led warrant" yesterday, Wednesday.

And a "significant quantity" of suspected class A and class B drugs were found in the property, along with some class C drugs.
In addition, "numerous large knives", a suspected stolen motorbike, and large sums of cash were seized by officers.

A 42-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested.
All were arrested under suspicion of possession of Class A and Class B drugs with intention to supply, suspicion of possession of Class C drugs, suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, and suspicion of handling stolen goods.

Sergeant Jay-Naren Uppal said: "This was a fantastic result for our officers and was a great success in many areas.
“We seized harmful drugs, recovered stolen property, and took offensive weapons out of circulation.
"Our number one priority is keeping the local community safe, and we will do what we can to ensure that."
