A road in Bury is closed after a tree has fallen into the road.
The incident is taking place on Newbold Street.
The tree is occuping the middle of the road and officers from Bury Council are working to resovle the issue.
One witness said: "It looks as though the storm has caused a tree to fall down on Newbold Street near Guardian Angels Church and White Head Park.
"There is a van and workers there at the moment and cars and pedestrians can't pass through because of the tree blocking the road."
