An annual scarecrow competition will return next month in aid of a Ramsbottom scout group.
Totty Scarecrows is now in its fourth year and encourages residents to put their creative skills to the test before one scarecrow is crowned as the winner.
The entries are displayed across Tottington's village, usually in the designers front garden, where they can be enjoyed by the public who vote to decide a winner.
Organiser and scout leader Chi Ho says the tradition began in 2020 after the end of the first Covid lockdown as a way of bringing the community together.

Money raised from the competition will go towards the 12th Bury Scout Group, in particular to support scouts affected by the cost-of-living crisis.
Chi said: “It's about letting people know about what we’re doing, it’s about raising awareness.
“The event inspires a bit of imagination and a bit of community spirit.”
Totty Scarecrows coincides with Tottington’s Big Day which takes place in the village from noon until 6pm on Sunday, July 2.
