Volunteers were hard at work getting this vintage bus ready to go on back into service in 1975.
The bus - a 1937 single-decker AEC - was owned by Peter Bell of the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Group and he had enlisted the help of Bury Transport Museum to restore it with the aim of getting it back on the road for vintage rallies and excursions.
