The cold and wet temperatures in the UK are a stark contrast to the sweltering conditions seen in Europe recently.
But unfortunately it looks like the rain is here to stay for a little longer with thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday.

In Bury, Wednesday is expected to be very wet with the Met Office forecasting heavy and persistent rain for most of the morning.
The Met Office said: “More showery by the afternoon with some drier and brighter interludes developing.
“Windy and feeling cool for early August.”

There will be a maximum temperature of 19C.
Thursday and Friday look to be showery but with sunnier intervals and feeling cool with brisk northwesterly winds.
Both days look to have highs of 18C.

Sunday looks to be similar with showers forecast for most of the day and feeling cooler with high temperatures of 17C.
