A musical trio will be playing at Bury Parish Church tomorrow, Friday.

Pixels Ensemble, a versatile group of chamber music players with a "shared interest in performing the finest repertoire, from the classical period to the present day", will be entertaining spectators at the church at 12.30pm.

Kate Romano on clarinet, Jonathan Aasgaard on cello and piano player Ian Buckle form the three-piece outfit.

Formed in 2016 by pianist and director Ian, the group appears in a range of line-ups and combinations, lending itself to innovative programming and enabling huge variety within individual concerts.

Recent outings include appearances at Liverpool Philharmonic, the Holywell Music Room in Oxford and Over-Seas House in London.

And the group enjoys close associations with the University of Liverpool and Stapleford Granary, Cambridge.

Tickets for the lunchtime concert will be on sale for £5 on the door and refreshments will be on sale from 11.00am.
