A borough care home worker is celebrating after winning the Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw.

Kelly Ratcliffe, from Ramsbottom, scooped the prize with ticket number 23457.

Kelly worked as a senior carer at Lavender Hills Care Home, but due to ill health she has recently transferred departments to support housekeeping. She loves where she works and ensures residents’ rooms are always presentable and cleaned to a high standard.

Kelly, who has held a ticket since April, said: "The reason I joined the draw was to support local people and local businesses, plus, my colleague won the weekly £2,000 draw in March so it prompted me to grab a ticket.

"Winning £2,000, particularly at this time of year, is amazing! I can't believe it!"

Kelly will be spending her winnings on a lovely treat for her husband Joel.

If you would like to win like Kelly, go to www.draw.madeinbury.co.uk for tickets.
