A driver has had their car taken off them on the M60 after the police pulled them over for "lane hogging".
The Ford motorist was reported to the North West Motorway Police for careless driving in the early hours of the morning (January 1), and was found to be on the road on a provisional licence on their own.

It comes after a "lane hogger" caused congestion on the M60 close to Oldham and took almost a mile to pull over for police - at which point he was issued a traffic offence report (TOR), two days before Christmas.
A TOR is an alternative to a fine which is sent to the central ticket office for consideration - a fine is one possible outcome but other outcomes include a course or a court summons.
