Tram passengers have been warned of 'severe delays' on the Bury line due to ice on the overhead line.
The Bee Network, which operates trams across the region warned Metrolink passengers that the cold weather has caused significant disruption on the line this morning, Tuesday.
The operator has advised passengers that tickets are being accepted on a number of bus services, including 17, 18, 41, 53, 56, 59, 66, 90, 95, 97, 98, 112, 117, 118, 135, 156, 163 and 52.

Its the second time in two days that passengers have experienced delays on the Bury line. Yesterday, Monday, passengers were unable to travel between Bury and Whitefield for around an hour due to a 'points failure.'
The Met Office has warned residents to take care when travelling in the region as it issued a Yellow weather warning until Thursday, January 18.
It warned commuters to expect delays if travelling by car, or by public transport.
UPDATE: The Bee Network has updated its guidance to say only minor delays can be expected on the Bury Line. It has advised that delays can be expected a cross the network due to icy conditions.
