Family fun events are returning to Ramsbottom Civic Hall next month.

"Friday Night Bite", a "community event for for the people of Ramsbottom", will be back at the Market Place venue on Friday, March 1.

Entertainment at the monthly events run from 5pm to 9pm and includes a singer or performer taking to the stage as well as family friendly activities and food stalls around the Urn in the centre.

Singer Poppy Holiday will be performing at the first event in March, with audiences entertained in the following months by singers Ste Millington (April 5), Charlie Munro (May 3) and Ananche (June 7).

Magician, illusionist and children’s entertainer Magic Mark will be dazzling spectators on July 5 while the act on August 2 is yet to be confirmed.

Ste Millington is set to return on September 6 as is Poppy Holiday for the last show on October 4.

At the events, which take place on the first Friday of each month, there will be a family friendly bar, a kitchen that serves children's food and a face painter.

There will be five to six food stalls that set up around the Urn in the centre of the square in Ramsbottom and people can bring their food to the hall to see the entertainer.

There will also be a stall set up in aid of Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People as well as a crafts stall.
