Bury police officers found a stolen Mercedes after a member of the public reported it as abandoned.
Greater Manchester Police shared the news on its GMP Traffic page on X, formerly Twitter, late in the evening on Friday, February 23.
The force also shared that it had seized a Vauxhall car parked on a pedestrian crossing in Eccles after it was spotted by traffic Police community support officers.
Photos of the vehicles being recovered were shared by GMP.

Earlier this month, police launched an operation to target death and injury on high-risk roads.
Using data and working with local communities, officers have now identified routes for targeted action as part of ‘Operation Classify’.
The force says excessive speeding, as well as drink and drug driving, and poor driver standards have been the main key causes of road traffic collisions in the area.
