Two thugs believed to be wearing balaclavas stole an e-bike in Bury.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called to reports of a robbery at around 11pm on Sunday, March 10 of a dark silver e-bike in an alleyway connecting Malton Avenue to Sawley Avenue.

The force said it is thought the bike was stolen by two suspects wearing balaclavas before they left towards Sawley Avenue.

The e-bike has distinctive features including red grips, purple pedals, and a ripped black and green seat.

No injuries or arrests have been reported.

GMP is following several lines of enquiry but would like to appeal to the public who may have vital information or footage.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the area that evening, or who perhaps lives on Sawley Avenue or the surrounding area and has CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage.
