Drivers in and around Bury will have nine National Highways road closures to watch out for in the next couple of weeks.

Four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, show that one closure is already in place and expected to carry on this week:

• M60, from 9pm on March 7 to 6am on Saturday, March 23, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 both directions junction 18 to junction 19 - lane closures and carriageway closure for white lining/road markings on behalf of National Highways.

A further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M60, from 8pm tonight, Tuesday, March 19 to 5am on Thursday, March 21, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M62 westbound, junction 19 to junction 17 - lane closure for permanent barriers.

• M60, from 8pm tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20 to 5am on Thursday, March 21, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 18 to junction 17 - carriageway closure for permanent barriers on behalf of National Highways.

• M60, from 9pm on Wednesday, March 20 to 5am on Friday, March 22, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise, junction 19 to junction 18 - lane closure for permanent barriers.

• M66, from 8pm on Thursday, March 21 to 5am on Friday, March 22, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 18 - lane closure for permanent barriers.

• M60, from 8pm on Friday, March 22 to 5am on Saturday, March 23, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 16 to junction 18 - lane closure for permanent barriers.

• M60, from 9pm on Saturday, March 23 to 5am on Monday, March 25, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise, junction 17 - carriageway closure for horticulture.

• M60, from 8pm on Monday, March 25 to 5am on Tuesday, March 26, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 18 to junction 19 - lane closure for signs and maintenance.

• M62, from 8pm on Wednesday, March 27 to 5am on Thursday, March 28, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M62 westbound, junction 19 to junction 18 - lane closure for permanent barriers.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
