Our summer memorial is a special moment in the Bury Hospice calendar.

This year, the hospice has commissioned a handcrafted and unique purple Forget Me Not flower by the talented team at the British Ironworks that can be dedicated in memory of someone special, or can be purchased to show support for the work the hospice does for patients and their families across Bury.

Anyone can buy a flower, you don’t have to have experienced our care first hand at the hospice.

Memories stay with us forever and we hope our Forget Me Not Appeal, sponsored by Silletts Funeral Service, will help you remember and celebrate the lives of someone special.

Every flower tells a personal story, so whether you are making a dedication in memory of a loved one or as a way of supporting the hospice, every donation will make a difference to people in our local community.

Coronation Street star Cait Fitton is supporting the campaign.

She said: “I am amazed by Bury Hospice’s incredible work within the community of Bury.

"I am delighted to be an ambassador for the hospice and will help whenever I can.

"The Forget Me Not Appeal is a beautiful way to support the hospice in memory of your loved one.”

All of the flowers purchased will be on display around the pond within the grounds of the hospice from Wednesday, June 12 to Sunday, June 23, where you will be able to view them.

You will also receive the flower as a colourful keepsake which you will be able to collect after the display has ended.

Each Forget Me Not flower is available for a minimum donation of £20 each.

They can be purchased online at forgetmenot2024.dedicationpage.org or by calling the fundraising team on 0161 797 1748.

We are delighted to announce the return of our much loved fabulous fundraising walk on the evening of Friday, June 21.
