Two teenagers were charged in connection with a suspected stabbing at a railway station in the city centre.

The emergency services were called to Manchester Victoria at around 9.15pm on the night of Good Friday.

According to British Transport Police (BTP) two people were arrested in connection with the suspected stabbing. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment but their injuries were not life-threatening.

Today (April 3) in an update BTP said two teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged with one count of GBH and one count of the possession of a bladed article in a public place.

They appeared at Manchester Youth Court this week before being remanded into custody.
