A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued across Bury today, Monday, with hail showers forecast.
The weather warning was put in place at 6.25am and runs until 10pm tonight.
The Met Office have said that it will feel a lot colder that recent days and there will be string winds which could cause some disruption throughout the day.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Sunny spells and blustery showers, possibly heavy at times with hail, the odd rumble of thunder and some wintriness over the hills.
“Feeling noticeably chiller compared with recent days. Maximum temperature 9 °C.”

There could also be some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport links.
Bury temperatures will reach up to 7C but will feel more like 3C today and hail is expected at around 3pm.

Heavy showers will persist all day, easing overnight.
For the rest of the week, the Met Office said: “Generally dry for the rest of the week though cloudy at times with some showers possible.
“Temperatures around the seasonal average and a noticeable fresher feel to the weather.”
