Local artists will be taking over venues across the borough this July for a two-day Festival of Art.
The festival will be taking place on July 6 and 7 and residents are encouraged to get involved to try their hand at a range of different workshops.

Free workshops will be available to try out including painting, pottery, textiles and more and no experience will be required.
There will be more than 20 participating studios and venues, 50 local artists and 10 workshops.

Councillor Charlotte Morris, cabinet member for culture, the economy and skills, said: “When it comes to culture and creativity, we have lots to shout about in Bury, and is something we are investing considerably in, as an intrinsic part of our town centre regeneration proposals.
“This will be fabulous two-day festival, celebrating the many groups and individuals who work in culture and heritage, and giving residents across the borough the chance to get involved and nurture their own unique artistic talents.”
