Readers have reacted with dismay on the announcement of the upcoming closure of a Bury cafe bar.
Husband and wife owners Johanne and Dave Banks have said Crowded House on Manchester Road café bar will close for the last time on January 31.
This is despite the couple saying they have "tried everything possible" to avoid closing.
They have said that they have struggled to keep the café bar open since the pandemic.
In a statement, the couple said: "Thank you and farewell.
"We have had the best 10 years at Crowded House.
"We genuinely feel that we have all built a little community of true friends, whom we hope will stay in touch.
"You, our loyal customers, have seen us through thick and thin, so a huge thank you for your ongoing support."
