An array of family activities are set to take place at a shopping centre in Bury over the Easter holidays.

Mill Gate Shopping Centre is hosting activities for visitors of all ages from March 17 to April 27.

The centre’s "Giving Box" scheme encourages shoppers to donate chocolate eggs to support the Frost Foundation and children in need as part of the centre's "Pass the Positivity" campaign.

An Easter trail will take place from March 24 to April 21, where families can search for hidden bunnies throughout the centre, and those who spot all the bunnies will receive an 'Easter treat'.

The Spring Garden, open from March 26 to April 27, will feature seasonal activities and floral displays.

On April 19, a free, chocolate-themed Easter workshop will be held in the Spring Garden from 11am to 4pm.

Angela Tierney, the Mill Gate's centre manager, said: "Easter is a wonderful time of year, full of lovely things such as flowers, bunnies, and of course, chocolate.

"We want to share those things with our shoppers and make the Easter break a memorable one for all the family."
