Lucky residents on a north Bury street will soon be pocketing some extra cash after having their postcode drawn today, Wednesday.

Ticket holders on residential street Birch-Lea Close, which sits just next to Bury Football Club's grounds on Gigg Lane, will each receive £1,000 after their postcode (BL9 9RZ) was picked out in the People's Postcode Lottery daily draw in the surprise midweek win.

It comes just one week after participating residents on Betley Street in Radcliffe also won in the daily draw.
