Residents in Prestwich who play a popular lottery game have a good reason to smile after winning a daily prize.
Ticketholders who live on Bolton Close will each receive £1,000 after their postcode - M25 9UJ - was drawn in the People's Postcode Lottery daily game on Tuesday (September 22), along with 19 other postcodes across the UK.
It follows wins in other parts of the borough in recent weeks and months, including on North View in Ramsbottom earlier this month.
Another Prestwich postcode - Bailey Street near Heaton Park - was also drawn in August, while residents on Bury and Bolton Road in Radcliffe also won £1,000 last month.
The People's Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 charities, with each one having one draw a month.
The lottery supports "a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world".
To date, they’ve provided more than £1.1 billion in funding which is helping thousands of organisations and projects.
