A barber from Bury has set up a quirky new business after spending a year working in Australia’s Gold Coast.
Harry Atherton-Kelly, 25, from Ramsbottom trained in barbering at Bury College.
When he returned to Bury following his year-long adventure across the pond, he decided to set up his own business – with a twist.
When Harry was looking at potentially renting out a shop in the borough, he was put off by high rental costs so decided to take matters into his own hands soon afterwards.

He spent six weeks converting an old horsebox into ‘H’s Barbershop’ and began serving customers from the side of a busy road in Pilsworth last week.
Harry said: “Me and my dad bought it and worked hard together to covert the horsebox.
“My dad has worked at festivals with catering boxes before so knew what he was doing! I couldn’t have done all this without him.
“It’s always been my dream to work for myself, and I’ve been smashing it so far. People who have been in love the idea of it and say they’ve never seen anything like it before.”
The horsebox boasts modern fixtures and fittings, with stylish black and white floor tiles and leather seating.
