A new mobile vet service based in Bury, designed to reduce stress for animals, has launched - meaning vets will come directly to your door to care for your pets.

Vets on the Meowve North West provides at-home care for pets and helps owners who might struggle to travel to a veterinary practice.

It also aims to help pet owners with busy schedules, nervous animals, or limited access to clinics in their local area.

Vets will come directly to your door to care for your pet in a setting that they are familiar with.

The local business wants to make care more accessible and support responsible pet ownership within the community.

Although they have a base in Bury, the practice covers the North West region.

The services they offer include consultations, vaccinations, health checks, surgeries, prescriptions, and tailored pet health plans.

The company boasts a focus on unhurried, attentive appointments where pets can be assessed calmly and thoroughly in surroundings familiar to them.

A client who called the vets out to see her mum's cat after the animal had fallen unwell shared their experience of the service.

The client said: “For anyone who is looking for a personal service for you and your pet, Antonio and Millie are just fabulous.

“They came out on Friday to see my mum’s poorly cat. There was no rushing; they were thorough, and the difference was that you could tell they cared about the pet.

“I will only be using these for future veterinary treatments. Thank you so much for your care and compassion. I will be recommending your services far and wide.”
