The Bury Agricultural Show is officially set for its return to Burrs Country Park this summer.

The 2026 event was confirmed by organisers this weekend and will take place on Sunday, June 28, at the showground off Woodhill Road.

Organised by Bury Agricultural Society, the show is now in its 89th year.

It is billed as a ‘celebration of rural life, bringing together livestock competitions, agricultural demonstrations, educational exhibits and family activities’.

Attractions include sheep shearing, an extreme mountain bike show, heavy horse championships, a sheepdog display and a young farmers' tug of war, alongside arts and crafts, trade stalls and a fun fair.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £8 for children, with an early bird offer where adult tickets purchased between March 1 and June 1 include a free child ticket, with an additional £2 discount at checkout.

Last year’s show saw more than 2,000 people flock to the Burrs, which organisers describe as “traditional and authentic”, aimed at everyone from farmers and industry professionals to families looking for a day out.

You can buy tickets and find out more on the Bury Agricultural Show website.
