Two neighbours in Bury have woken up a whopping quarter of a million pounds richer after their postcode won a huge lottery draw today.

The anonymous players will be celebrating this morning after pocketing £250,000 each in the Postcode Lottery's bumper monthly prize.

The pair were the only winners when the bumper windfall landed in BL8 2AZ on Saturday, March 28, and every ticket was worth a quarter of a million pounds.

Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson was delighted to share news of the double win on Railway Street.

He said: “Huge congratulations to both of our winners. I’m absolutely overjoyed for them.
