A Love Island couple visited a cocktail bar in Whitefield twice in just one day.

Two celebrities were spotted enjoying a few drinks in Northern Crafthouse, on Bury New Road, M45 8QP.

Staff at the bar and eatery said that winners of the first series of Love Island All Stars, Tom Clare and Molly Smith, stopped into the establishment twice on Friday, April 24.

The first time was earlier in the evening, and general manager Rebecca Greatorex said they ordered a Guinness and a glass of wine.

The 36-year-old was surprised to see them and asked them for a quick picture.

She said: "We were really, really busy with the sun being out, it's always a busy day, we've got the outside beer garden.

"So they slipped through the net, and it wasn't until I came off the bar and went on the floor to have a look around that I saw them, but by this time I'm the last to find out that they're there.

"The customers were taking pictures and stuff."

The pair, who met on the TV show and are now engaged, then returned later in the night, and Rebecca said they asked her to take a picture of them in return.

She described the pair as "nice" and "dead down to earth".

Tom Clare came in third place on the ninth series of Love Island and plays for Macclesfield.

Molly Smith appeared in season six of the TV show and met Tom during the filming of the All Stars version.

The couple has recently taken on Jamie Laing's and Sophie Haboo's podcast, Nearly Weds, where they share how their wedding planning is going.

It has been reported that the wedding will take place later this year.

This is not the first time the bar has had a celebrity visit, according to Rebecca, who has worked at Northern Crafthouse for five years.

She said online food blogger and competitive eater BeardMeatsFood, also known as Adam Moran, visited a few years ago to take on the challenge of the sharing platter on the menu.

Rebecca said before his visit, the bar would sell around four of these platters a week.

Thanks to his video, posted for millions of subscribers to watch, this number has jumped to 15 or 20 per week.
