Tony Christie is heading to Bury as part of his farewell tour.

The legendary crooner will perform an unplugged set at The Met on Saturday, June 6, at 8pm.

Audiences will be treated to a mixture of Tony's classics, including Is This The Way To Amarillo?, Walk Like A Panther, and I Did What I Did For Maria.

He will also be performing some covers.

Tony's band will consist of Dave Day on guitar, Rich Hammond playing bass, Chris 'CJ' Hillman on pedal steel and guitar, and Matt Steele on piano.

Tony's latest album, A New Life, is already available; it was recorded in Nashville and features reimagined versions of some of his fans' favourite tracks.

VIP meet and greet tickets are going for £82 (including fees), giving fans the chance to meet Tony himself.

Only 20 of these VIP tickets are available, and they can be bought when a blue (Band B) seat is selected.

More information can be found on the Met's website.
