The mug shot of a Prestwich woman found guilty of murdering her husband has been released following her conviction.
The image of 72-year-old Daryl Berman was taken after her arrest by Greater Manchester Police.
Berman was found guilty by a jury at Minshull Street Crown Court yesterday (June 23) of killing her husband, David Berman, 84, at their home on March 13 last year.
The couple, who had been married for 27 years, were long-term residents in Prestwich.
Emergency services were called to the property on Butterstile Lane shortly before 2pm, after Berman reported that her husband had suffered a serious injury.

Paramedics found Mr Berman on the kitchen floor with a single stab wound to the chest.
Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at 2.39 pm.
In the immediate aftermath, Berman maintained the injury had been caused by an accident, claiming her husband had fallen while carrying a tray that included a knife.
When officers arrived at the scene, she reportedly said: "You don't think I've murdered him, do you?"
She consistently denied any involvement in his death, telling the court: "Why would I do that to the man I love?" and insisting: "I have absolutely no idea, I wasn't in the room."
However, prosecutors argued that her account did not stand up to scrutiny.
Medical experts concluded that the fatal wound bore the hallmarks of a deliberate act rather than an accident.
A Home Office pathologist described the injury as having "typical features of a homicide," adding that an accidental fall was "very unlikely" to have caused it.
Further concerns were raised about Berman’s behaviour after the incident.
Despite claiming to have tried to help her husband, she had minimal blood on her clothing.
Evidence from her phone also suggested a delay between her accessing the device and calling emergency services.
During the 999 call, there were periods of silence, and it took more than six minutes before she began CPR, despite instructions from the operator.
A secondary injury to Mr Berman’s hand - consistent with a defensive wound - also undermined the suggestion that his death had been accidental.
Although her explanation was initially accepted, doubts emerged during the post-mortem examination, leading to her arrest five days later.
The custody image now released captures the moment she entered the criminal justice system following that shift in the investigation.

Throughout the trial, Berman remained adamant she was innocent, becoming emotional while giving evidence.
She described the aftermath of finding her husband and her distress at his death, telling jurors she had lain beside his body and said goodbye.
"I took the sheet off his face and lay down next to him and cradled his head and told him I loved him," she said.
"I didn't want to leave him… it was the last thing I could do."
But the jury ultimately rejected her account, finding her guilty of murder after hearing detailed forensic and circumstantial evidence.
Following the verdict, Senior Crown Prosecutor Sazeeda Ismail stated: "Daryl Berman stabbed her husband of 27 years in the chest and intentionally caused his death.
"She lied to paramedics, police and family members when she claimed Mr Berman had accidentally sustained his fatal injuries."
She added: "The jury saw through her lies and convicted her of murder, due to the strength of the prosecution's case."
Berman has been remanded into custody and is due to be sentenced at Minshull Street Crown Court on July 3, where she faces a mandatory life sentence.
