Bury Hospice is taking our supporters back to the 80s and 90s with the return of our daytime disco, Back In The Day II.
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon packed with classic dancefloor anthems, retro vibes and feel-good energy as we party from daylight through to dusk at our Back In The Day II event, proudly sponsored by Crown Oil.
Whether you were there the first time around or simply love the music of the 80s and 90s, this is your chance to dance, sing, and celebrate with family and friends while supporting Bury Hospice.
This event is perfect for anyone wanting to relive those club years from ‘back in the day’ when they used to spend time with friends enjoying a night out at Sol Viva, a much-loved nightclub in Bury town centre.
Sol Viva opened 1981 and played great tunes from the 80s and 90s.
Once home to an Odeon cinema and roller skating rink before relaunching as the Roxy nightclub, later renamed Sol Viva, it sadly all came to an end when the venue closed for good in 2010.
We are bringing the same vibe back to Bury this September with Back In The Day II.
The event is taking place on Saturday, September 19 at Club Den, Wellington Street, Bury between 2pm and 8pm.
Club Den has an old school vibe as an old mill with cast iron beams and brick ceilings, giving it an authentic warehouse feel.
Our supporters will get to rewind the clock and hear the ultimate soundtrack of old school 80s and 90s dance tunes, taking us all back to when we used to be on the dance floor at Sol Viva and other nightclubs across Bury.
Rachel Krafft, Senior Community Fundraiser said: “The Back In The Day II event will give partygoers the chance to enjoy party and dance music and still be tucked up in bed with a brew before 9pm.”
Tickets are £15 per person (over 18s only), and the event will run from 2pm to 8pm. VIP packages are also available.
