A Radcliffe man is facing extradition proceedings after being arrested on multiple warrants issued by authorities in the Czech Republic.
Patrik Polanecky, 48, of Lord Street, Radcliffe, appeared before Westminster Magistrates' Court on October 28. According to court records, he is wanted in connection with three separate extradition requests.
One warrant relates to an alleged offence of driving while disqualified. A second concerns alleged offences of driving whilst disqualified and theft. A third relates to an allegation of drug trafficking.
All three warrants were issued by the Czech Republic under the Extradition Act 2003.
Polanecky was granted conditional bail pending a full extradition hearing.
Court records show he must live at his Lord Street address, comply with an electronically monitored curfew between 11pm and 2am, surrender identification documents, keep a mobile phone switched on and with him at all times, and not enter any international travel hubs or apply for travel documents.
He has also lodged £500 security with the court.
The case was adjourned until February 15, 2027, when a full hearing is due to take place at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
