WHITEFIELD’S Elms Bank Specialist Arts College is taking part in a musical extravaganza which will help showcase its talented pupils.
The Ripon Avenue establishment is one of 12 special schools which will perform at the sixth annual Inscape Summer Music Festival at The Lowry in Salford next Wednesday. (July 2).
Next week’s concert provides the ideal opportunity for members of the public as well as families to listen to the musical talents of young people with a choice of two different shows.
The morning performance starts at 11am and the afternoon showing at 1.30pm.
Tickets cost £3.50 for adults and £1 for children, senior citizens, students, school groups and visitors with disabilities.
Behind the event is charitable organisation, The Together Trust. Its director of educational services, Helen Hewitt said: “The pupils have worked very hard to prepare for the Inscape Summer Music Festival and are extremely enthusiastic and excited about performing live on the day.”
