Bury indie stars Elbow have announced a live tour of the UK for October.
The five-piece group, which formed at the former Stand Sixth Form College, Whitefield, in 1990, will play gigs in Leicester, Leeds, Gateshead and Liverpool, culminating with a date at the Manchester Apollo on October 23. Tickets went on sale today.
The band has recently enjoyed increased popularity for their most recent album The Seldom Seen Kid, which reached number five in the UK Album Chart.
Their first single from that album, Grounds For Divorce, saw them notch up their highest single sales yet. The follow-up, live favourite One Day Like This, was released on June 2.
Tickets cost £17.50 and are available from gigsandtours.com or by ringing 0871 2200 260.
