Former Whitefield couple Leonard and Eleanor Curran will dance the anniversary waltz as they celebrate 60 years of marriage.
For today marks the diamond anniversary of the couple walking down the aisle.
Leonard grew up in Heywood and met Eleanor, from Jericho in Bury, while dancing at Bury Palais.
The pair have been together ever since and married on June 26, 1948, at Moulding Methodist Church, in Jericho.
They owned a grocers shop, L and E Curran, which was based in Robert Street, Elton, from 1956 to 1964, before moving to Thatch Leach Lane, Whitefield, until 1983.
Leonard (89) and Eleanor (87) will celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary with a family holiday in Lytham St Annes.
They now live in Sunnybank and have three daughters and seven grandchildren.
