GOING for goal has led to a hat-trick of successes for the 2nd XI football team at Bury College.
For the team has been crowned as champions of the North West Colleges League for the third year in a row.
They were undefeated throughout the whole season and ended the year with a win over Aquinas College.
Footballer Danny Greenhalgh was named as the manager’s player of the year and Tom Taylor scooped players’ player of the year and top goal scorer.
A sports presentation evening was held at the Bolholt Hotel, where the team were presented with the trophy.
