TWO Bury men have denied possessing Baikial pistols and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
Christopher Payne and Fation Peqici, both of Wash Lane, pleaded not guilty to the offence, which allegedly occurred in Hindley, Wigan, on June 5 this year.
Payne, aged 41, also denied possessing shortened Baikial pistols and a quantity of bulleted cartridges on the same date.
Peqici, aged 27, admitted those two charges and also pleaded guilty to possessing a CS gas cannister and possessing cocaine.
Both defendants appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on Monday via video link from Forest Bank prison.
They were both remanded in custody to await trial on October 27, which is expected to last a week.
