CARING staff at a Radcliffe nursing home are putting their best feet forward to raise money for their residents.
About ten workers at Rose Court will walk from the home in Water Street to Bury town centre.
The staff, who include carers, maintenance workers, kitchen staff and activities co-ordinators, will set off at 8am tomorrow.
They hope that the three-mile sponsored walk will pay for entertainment for the residents over the festive period.
Activities co-ordinator Michelle Kay said: “We are looking forward to the walk. Hopefully it won’t be too hard given that we’re walking around all day at work anyway. The residents think we’re mad, but they are looking forward to having entertainment at their Christmas parties.”
Anyone wishing to sponsor the staff can contact Rose Court on (0161) 724 9040.
