COMMUNITY officials from Whitefield and Unsworth have drawn up an ambitious three-year plan to make life better in the area.
Whitefield and Unsworth Local Area Partnership revealed a detailed document at its meeting last week (Nov 18) outlining dozens of goals it wants to achieve by 2011.
Aims include establishing a bus service linking Hollins and Hillock Estate with Whitefield centre, encouraging all schools to draw up travel plans with a focus on walking and cycling, and employing a dedicated police officer for the Victoria Estate.
