THE Met is hosting a free course in screenwriting for the short films.
New Shorts is run by First Take, an award-winning independent production company, and is funded by North West Vision and Media and the UK Film Council along with Bury Council.
The course will take people from the idea stage to a completed first draft of a short film script. It will also show people how to get their script noticed.
The course will run at The Met in Market Street for four consecutive Saturdays, from 10am to 4pm, starting on January 10, 2009.
