In the next few days all Bury voters will have the right to their say in the referendum as to whether a new local tax is to be introduced.

The proposed congestion charge will be a tax on travelling to work, taking your children to school or just early morning shopping for thousands of hard working families. Even worse, if it is brought in, it will start at exactly the same time as all the other tax increases the Government are planning. A double whammy for local residents.

This is one extra cost we can stop. We can stop it by simply returning our postal vote by December 11 and voting ‘No’. We will both be voting ‘No’ and we urge everyone who wants to help hard working local families to do the same.
