THE ever-popular East Lancashire Railway Santa Steam Special trains will run every weekend until December 21, beginning this Saturday.
This Saturday and Sunday, visitors will get a fare reduction of £2.
The service will also be extended to run on the days preceding Christmas Day, from December 22 to 24.
Around 23,000 children and their parents are expected to make their way from all over the North West to travel on the nostalgic steam-hauled trains to meet Father Christmas.
All seats have to be pre-booked, with the train setting off from the Bolton Street Station in Bury and heading to Ramsbottom and back.
