THE group continues its 30th anniversary programme of special events next Thursday (February 12) with a visit from the editor of Birds Illustrated magazine, David Cromack.
He will be showing a big selection of The World’s Best Bird Images at Smithills School, Smithills Dean Road, Bolton.
It starts at 7.30pm and is open to non-members.
On Sunday, February 15, there’s a full day car trip to RSPB’s Old Moor reserve and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s Potteric Carr reserve, meeting at Birch Services on the M62 at Heywood at 9.30am.
