IT might be the bleak midwinter but recent Sunday rides have been well attended.
The last three outings have been to Lymm in Cheshire, Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire and Haigh Hall.
This lies in a country park near Wigan meaning for the most part the roads of the Greater Manchester conurbation. Even so, a careful choice of route led the tandemists over the boundary into Lancashire before a change of direction from northerly to southerly for the climb up Red Rock Hill.
Our Silver Anniversary Celebration and Reunion will be held on Friday, February 27, at the Garsdale. The price of the two-course meal is £12 and nine places are still available.
