SPORTS fans are invited to take part in a wheelchair tag rugby league taster session.
The event, which is being held at Holy Cross College in Bury tomorrow, could ultimately lead to the town forming its own wheelchair rugby league team.
The taster, to take place between 10am and 1pm, will feature several England rugby league squad members. Able-bodied people as well as the disabled are invited to take part in the event.
Paul McCormick, co-ordinator of Bury-based Jigsaw, which caters for young adults with disabilities, said: “The sessions are open to everyone. They can get in a wheelchair and take part.”
Saturday’s sessions will be held in the college’s main sports hall.
