A former Royal Marine has marched into the role of general manager at Mercedes-Benz Whitefield.
David Lucas has joined the Bury Old Road dealership after rising through the ranks of car retailing.
He has been promoted from general sales manager at Mercedes-Benz Stockport and had worked for several major brands since entering the industry in 2002.
The motorcycling enthusiast jumped at the chance to head-up the entire Mercedes-Benz Whitefield operation and already has a clear idea of what he hopes to achieve in his new role.
David, aged 31, said: “Joining Mercedes-Benz Whitefield was an opportunity too good to miss. There’s great potential to provide our customers with a level of care that is far beyond their expectations.
“At a time when everything seems to be going up in cost, we are doing our utmost to make prestige motoring as accessible and affordable as possible.”
